PT Labor - National City (San Diego)

We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network who has a position for a PT Laborer! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Candidates selected to be an AbilityOne participating employee must provide documentation verifying a qualifying significant disability, as required by U.S. AbilityOne Commission policies.

WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT

As a PT Laborer, you will be responsible for lifting and loading, organizing and provisioning ships with necessary supplies and equipment in the National City (San Diego) area. You will work closely with the provisioning team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. All of your efforts are in direct support of the military.

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This is a part-time, as-needed essential position. Schedules vary based on government demand and are typically morning shifts, with some weekend work required. Candidates must be flexible to meet changing operational needs. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Perform manual labor tasks including loading and unloading ships and transport equipment 

• Sort, stock, pull, package, and repackage materials 

• Transport goods using carts, hand trucks, or team-based methods 

• Maintain organization and accuracy of inventory 

• Work in various environments, including outdoor weather and freezer conditions 

• Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety programs 

• Adhere to contract requirements and organizational policies 

• Support overall logistics and operational needs 

• Perform other duties as assigned
