WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join the team at Picatinny Arsenal. This role involves performing a wide range of cleaning duties, including but not limited to cleaning floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment in support of military personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean and safe.
WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
Monday to Friday; There are 2 shifts available: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 9:30AM to 5:30PM.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Clean and maintain floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste following safety protocols.
• Ensure all areas are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized work area.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
• Good physical stamina and tolerance for repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of proper and safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Prior janitorial experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION
This position pays $18.86/hr
