MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a MISSION SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the OFFICE OF THE JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERAL of OSTC.


  • You will serve as the primary liaison for all incoming contacts and maintain a positive working relationship with all personnel, callers, and visitors.
  • You will answer incoming phone calls and inquiries from visitors, using discretion to screen and refer calls and visitors to staff and attorneys accordingly.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining records and files in accordance with prescribed regulations and policies.
  • You will be responsible for submitting various weekly, monthly, and annual reports as requested.
  • You will conduct initial quality assurance reviews of case/client files to ensure all documents are complete and meet legal regulations.

Requirements

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing various computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro, online databases or case management software for data entry, file storage, and tracking; 2) Applying interpersonal skills to liaise with commands, victims, witnesses, attorneys, investigators, and other Navy stakeholders to schedule appointments or receive or give updates on case status; and 3) Generating case files for attorneys and paralegals by distributing correspondence and assembling legal filings drafted by others.
