Laborer

The Pocatello Supply Depot (PSD) work unit located at Pocatello, Idaho, is responsible for manufacturing, warehousing, and selling vertebrate pesticides and other products for wildlife damage management. Situational telework may be available on an ad hoc basis.


  • The duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Assists journeyman staff to manufacture and/or repackage predacides, rodenticides, avicides, and animal damage control devices.
  • Uses simple material handling equipment to move, lift, or prepare specialized equipment for assembly or disassembly.
  • Loads, unloads, and moves equipment, crates, boxes, and supplies by hand or with the use of a hand truck and/or dolly or other material-handling equipment.
  • Assembles or prepares equipment, parts, or materials for shipping or mailing.
  • Under supervision, assists journeymen to operate and maintain as instructed, precision cutting and forming machines, boring machines, punching machines and other general shop equipment.

Requirements
